The Chamber of Commerce of Smyth County is excited to host their 2nd Annual Great Rubber Duck Race. The event will be held at The Chilhowie Town Park on August 12, 2023.
Vendors and Food Trucks will be set up beginning at 3:00 pm with the Great Rubber Duck Race at 5:00 pm. Followed by The Town of Chilhowie’s Music in the Park series with the band Shooter taking the stage at 7:00 pm. Enter the race for only $3 and a chance to win our grand prize of $500.
All proceeds from the duck race will go to The Smyth County Imagination Library. Currently the Chamber is sponsoring 685 children throughout the county each receives a free book each month.

This year’s goal is to sell 1500 ducks. You can purchase ducks at the following locations:
