TOWN OF CHILHOWIE
INVITIATION FOR SEALED BIDS
The Town of Chilhowie is accepting sealed bids for surplus used 8-inch sewer bypass hoses and small portable welding gas tanks. Specifically, the hoses include: three (3) 16-foot sections with 8-inch discharge, two (2) 12-foot sections with 8-inch discharge, one (1) 10-foot section with 8-inch discharge, and two (2) 8-inch discharge couplers. The gas tanks are an old set of two small welding gas tanks that have been unused for several years. Interested bidders will bid with the understanding that these items have not been used for some time and are being listed “as is” and the Town does not make any guarantees about their use or condition. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Sealed bids must be marked “Bypass Hoses Bid” and received at Chilhowie Town Hall, 325 East Lee Highway, Chilhowie, Virginia no later than 4:00 pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
This invitation to bid was approved by the Chilhowie Town Council.
